If you enjoyed watching a live broadcast of the finals of the 2010 British Open for the Gold Cup that was offered on www.hurlinghampolo.com a couple of weeks ago, you’re going to get another chance to watch some top international polo competition when a web broadcast of the Cartier International match is offered on Sunday, July, 25 at 3 pm (GMT) or 10 AM (EST) on www.hurlinghampolo.com.
Once again it will be produced by the London based, award-winning British television, corporate video and multi-media production company, Blue Tuna. Blue Tuna was founded by Steve Katz in 2003 and offers the first live coverage of high-goal polo for mainstream TV and Internet audiences. The six camera shoot is expected to replicate the excellent job that was done in the coverage of the British Open finals.
Following match coverage, there will be 30 minutes of highlights again, giving all viewers an opportunity to relive some of the focal points of the international competition between New Zealand and England.
The two teams met in February in New Zealand with the host team handing England an 11-7 defeat.
The English team will be captained by Luke Tomlinson. He will be joined by his brother Mark, James Beim and Malcolm Borwick.
New Zealand will be fielding a team composed of Simon Keyte, Tommy Wilson, Sam Hopkinson and captained by John Paul Clarkin.
The international polo community sang the praises of the coverage of the finals of the British Open by Blue Tuna and will certainly be looking forward to the Cartier International match on Sunday.
