Both Les Lions ll and Piaget have won all their league games. Piaget have also won their three games by a single goal in each case. Enigma received the Richard Watt Cup after winning this game on The Queen's Ground, at Guards Polo Club.

Quarter Finals :  Saturday 5 June

 

Les Lions ll    11 Enigma

 

Les Lions ll dominated the game and although Enigma found some of their earlier tournament form in the fourth chukka they were unable to convert chances into goals, while Les Lions ll played a confident game throughout the six chukkas.

 

La Bamba De Areco 12 v  11  El Remanso

 

This was a much closer game - played at the Zacara ground - which went into extra time and a seventh chukka. 

 

Quarter Finals :  Sunday 6th June :

 

Dubai  14  v   8   Zacara

 

Dubai received the Gerard Leigh Trophy after winning this game on The Queen’s Ground at Guards Polo Club

 

Lechuza Caracas  10  v 7 Piaget

 

This means that the Polo Office can now confirm that the following will play in the semi-finals, which are sponsored by the Westbury Mayfair Hotel, on Wednesday 9 June.  Both matches are being held at Guards Polo Club.

 

3pm:      Les Lions 2 v Lechuza Caracas. The winner of this match will receive the Westbury Mayfair Trophy.

 

5pm:      La Bamba de Areco v Dubai. The winner of this match will receive the Hubert Perrodo Trophy.

 

After the semi finals there will be a STALLION PARADE & EMBRYO AUCTION at Guards Polo Club on Wednesday 9th June at 6.30pm - in front of the Clubhouse.
