The new season of polo at Cowdray Park Polo Club commences on 24th April 2010 and continues through to 19th September with in excess of 450 matches in prospect. 

 

Highlights of the season include:-

 

Saturday 22nd MayEngland v South Africa International Test Match for the St. Regis Polo Cup and the Final of The British Ladies Open Championship

 

Sunday 6th JuneArgentine Ambassadors Cup High Goal Polo

 

Sunday 20th JuneThe Midhurst Town Cup High Goal Polo

 

2010 sees leading Champagne House Veuve Clicquot sponsoring the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup for the British Open Polo Championship into a sixteenth year during which time Finals day has become one of the most stylish and popular sporting events of the summer season.  With a prestigious history spanning more than fifty years, the Gold Cup is considered the most coveted prize in the world of polo and the Championship an international showcase for the sport’s most outstanding players.

 

This year’s tournament opens on Tuesday 22nd June and around 40 matches will take place during the course of the 2010 British Open Championship.  Quarter Finals take place on the weekend of 10/11th July and Semi Finals on Thursday 15th July culminating in the Final of the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup on Sunday 18th July
