The All England Polo Club (AEPC), Hickstead, is delighted to be hosting its third Arena Polo Test Match on Saturday 27th February. This is the only opportunity for UK based polo fanatics to enjoy an exciting arena international here on home turf, and this year will feature England against a highly competitive Scottish side.
Scotland’s 23 goal team; Howard Smith (6), Jamie Le Hardy (8) and Chris Hyde (9), will fight furiously to take home the coveted Bryan Morrison Trophy, which has been engraved with wins by Team England for the last two years.
The England players, captained by high goal professional Nacho Gonzales (9), boasts the experience, agility and superior skills of Johnny Good playing off 8 goals, and the youth of Eden Ormerod (6) who made his debut at senior international level in the 2008 test match against South Africa.
Off the pitch, guests will enjoy the famous Hickstead hospitality at our renowned post-match dinner, and a chance to meet and mingle with the players. Notorious for its horseplay and frivolity, the after-polo party that follows with disco and ubiquitous dancing to our live DJ, completes the perfect après-polo celebration!
Discussions are under way to televise this unique event once again, following the exceptional coverage the 2009 test match enjoyed on both Sky Sports and Horse and Country Television.
There are extensive brand exposure opportunities, official supplier statuses and other sponsorship packages currently available, and limited trade space for those wishing to exhibit at the event.
Admission : £15 on the day (or £10 in advance)
Post match dinner : £60 per person
Tickets are now available from www.hickstead.co.uk or by telephoning the polo office on 01273 834315. For further information email polo@hickstead.co.uk
